World Cup: S'pore hold Japan to shock draw

SINGAPORE'S senior national football team achieved a sensational result when they held Asian champions Japan to a 0-0 away draw in Saitama in their World Cup 2018 qualification clash last night. The Lions trotted out a defensive line-up to frustrate the hosts, and had goalkeeper Izwan Mahbud to thank for saving repeatedly from Japanese attacks.
