ATLETICO SIGN FERNANDEZ

Atletico Madrid have boosted their Spanish Primera Liga title challenge with the signing of Argentina international midfielder Augusto Fernandez from Celta Vigo for an undisclosed fee.

The 29-year-old enjoyed a successful 3 1/2-year spell at Celta, scoring 10 goals in 122 appearances and helping to guide them to fifth in the table this season.

CHERRIES LAND ITURBE ON LOAN

Bournemouth have signed Roma winger Juan Iturbe on loan for the rest of the season.

The English Premier League club also have the option of making the Argentina Under-20 international's move permanent at the end of the season for an undisclosed fee.
