JUVENTUS MEDICAL CHECK FOR SCHICK

Striker Patrik Schick is undergoing medical tests at Juventus ahead of his move from Sampdoria, the Serie A champions said yesterday.

The 21-year-old Czech Republic international, who scored 11 goals in 32 league appearances last season, is set to join Juventus for €30.5 million (S$47.3 million), Italian Sky Sport reports.

FIVE-YEAR MONACO DEAL FOR MBOULA

French champions Monaco plucked promising teenage winger Jordi Mboula from Barcelona on a five-year deal on Wednesday, the Ligue 1 club announced.

Mboula, 18, shone during last season's Uefa Youth League, scoring eight goals in as many matches, and the Spain youth international becomes Monaco's fifth signing of the close season.
