Liverpool and club sponsor Standard Chartered yesterday announced the launch of LFC World, an immersive fan experience tour that will begin in Singapore later this month.

Besides a pop-up mini-musuem that will showcase the history of the iconic Anfield club, Reds supporters in the Republic will also get to meet former Liverpool stars like Gary McAllister, Ian Rush and Luis Garcia during the Oct 31-Nov 6 event.

The three legends will be at Suntec City Mall for a meet-and-greet session from Nov 3-6. There will be a viewing party for the English Premier League fixture between Liverpool and Watford on Nov 6.

As part of the tie-up with StanChart, there will be interactive games using virtual reality technology. Supporters wearing headsets can experience a day at Anfield - from listening in to a team talk by manager Jurgen Klopp, to walking out of the Anfield tunnel and enjoying the atmosphere of a match.

A youth football clinic will also be conducted during the week-long visit.

The other three global destinations of LFC World will be announced at a later date.

Said Billy Hogan, Liverpool's chief commercial officer: "Our fans, wherever they are in the world, form part of the world's greatest football family. Taking an incredible Liverpool FC experience to supporters that may never get to visit Anfield is our way of bringing that family closer together."

A specially-made video, featuring the likes of current players Georginio Wijnaldum, Roberto Firmino, Sadio Mane as well as retired star Robbie Fowler, was also released yesterday.

Added StanChart Singapore chief executive Judy Hsu: "LFC World is a unique blend of soccer heritage combined with the latest technology and in-person experience with the Liverpool FC Legends.
