These children from L's Football Academy were all smiles yesterday afternoon as former Brazil and Barcelona football star Ronaldinho posed for a photo with them during a brief appearance at ITE College Central. The 35-year-old arrived in Singapore on Thursday to launch his own football academy here with S-League club Tampines Rovers, and to promote his own e-scooter brand. At yesterday's event, the 2005 winner of the Ballon d'Or - football's most prestigious individual award - signed a wall decal image of himself, gave an autographed jersey to the Institute of Technical Education and kicked a few signed footballs to the 200-strong crowd.
