SINGAPORE - The preliminary round of this year's RHB Singapore Cup will kick off on May 26, with last year's runners-up Home United facing Hougang United at the Bishan Stadium.

The other clash of the S-League teams between Geylang International and Warriors FC will take place at the Jalan Besar Stadium the following day.

Invited foreign teams Nagaworld FC (Cambodia) and Global FC (Philippines) will play at the Jalan Besar Stadium as well on May 28, while the third foreign team Ceres La Salle FC (Philippines) will face off with the Garena Young Lions at the same venue in the last game of the prelimiary round on May 29.

The draw for the 19th edition of the annual Cup tournament was conducted by the Football Association of Singapore last month.

Seeded S-League teams, including holders Albirex Niigata and league defending champions Brunei DPMM, await the winners in the quarter-final round, which is slated to take place in September.
