Friendly for CP footballers

Singapore's national cerebral palsy football captain Khairul Anwar shielding the ball from a player from the Hwa Chong Institution alumni team in a friendly match at Queenstown Stadium yesterday.

The Hwa Chong alumni team won 7-2.

Singapore CP football coach Mohamed Zainudeen, who led the team to a bronze medal at last year's Asean Para Games, said: "It was a friendly encounter on a good, hot afternoon.

The important thing is that everyone had many chances to play."
