IF YOU do not want to be alone on your couch to catch Sunday's English Premier League mega-clash between Manchester United and Liverpool, help has arrived.

There will be live screenings of the match at 17 Community Clubs (CC) across Singapore as part of a partnership between the People's Association (PA) and SingTel mioTV.

Besides the 9.30pm main event from Old Trafford, residents can look forward to 'Guess the Winner' games and lucky draws, with United and Liverpool jerseys among the prizes.

The CCs are located in Bishan, Bukit Batok East, Buona Vista, Choa Chu Kang, Clementi, Fengshan, Gek Poh Ville, Kaki Bukit, Kim Seng, Paya Lebar Kovan, Pek Kio, Tampines West, Telok Blangah, Toa Payoh Central, Yew Tee, Yio Chu Kang and Zhenghua.

Michael Foo, Director (Community Sports Division) at PA, said: "We are delighted that residents are enjoying the EPL screenings at the CCs. EPL live screenings like these are a great opportunity for families and friends to get together and cheer on their favourite teams."
