Football: Singapore Selection squad announced for Sultan of Selangor Cup match

SINGAPORE - Tampines Rovers striker Rodrigo Tosi joins the Courts Young Lions duo of Jordan Webb and Sherif El Masri as the only foreign footballers named in the Singapore Selection that will contest the Sultan of Selangor's Cup this Saturday.

LionsXII coach Fandi Ahmad will coach the team for the annual affair at the Shah Alam Stadium, and will also feature in the curtain-raising veterans clash.

The former national striker has selected 15 LionsXII players in his 20-man squad. Besides the three foreigners, defender Anumanthan Kumar and reserve goalkeeper Syazwan Buhari (both from Young Lions) are from other clubs.

The Singapore veterans' side include former national stalwarts V. Sundramoorthy, Lim Tien Jit and Shahri Rahim.
