Valenica head coach Gary Neville won his third La Liga match with a 2-1 victory over Malaga.

Denis Cheryshev scored Valencia's goal and a ridiculous own goal from Malaga 'keeper Carlos Kameni secured the three points for Neville's side - their third victory in their last four league outings.

But it was Malaga who took the lead just after 10 minutes through Duje Cop.Valencia, however, equalised four minutes before half-time when a cross was flapped at by Kameni who eventually diverted the ball into his own net.

Cheryshev sealed the victory with his second goal since joining on loan from Real Madrid.

Valencia are now ahead of Malaga in 9th in the La Liga table after starting the evening a point behind their opponents.
