SINGAPORE - The LionsXII continued their unbeaten run at home after a convincing 3-0 victory over Kelantan FA in the Malaysia Super League (MSL) at the Jalan Besar Stadium on Saturday evening.

In nine matches at home in all competitions this season, Fandi Ahmad's troops have now won seven matches, while drawing two.

The hosts were quick off the blocks, opening the scoring as early the fourth minute when Faris Ramli finished past goalkeeper Khairul Fahmi after the custodian had initially parried Safuwan Baharudin's drilled effort from just outside the box onto Faris' path.

The second goal came in the 79th minute with a flowing counter-attacking move finished off by Khairul Amri, who scored his seventh goal of the season.

Faris then sealed matters in the 84th minute when he found space in the box to score his second goal of the night.

Fandi's charges will next face Perak FA at home on Wednesday in the MSL.
