We've heard of retired footballers seeking a whole range of alternate career paths, but being a wrestler?

German goalkeeper Tim Wiese would probably be the first.

Various news outlets, including the Guardian, have reported how Wiese told German football magazine Bild that he had received an official enquiry from the WWE.

"It's about working for them as a wrestler," he was quoted as saying. "I will listen. I don't sh** my pants."

The 32-year-old, who played six times for his country, also made Germany's 2010 World Cup squad. He had been released by Bundesliga club Hoffenheim in January this year after a string of poor performances.

Rather than remaining idle, Wiese has been doing some serious bodybuilding, having reportedly bulked up to a hefty 115 kg.

From the looks of his recent pictures, he wouldn't look out of place beside the likes of John Cena, Randy Orton and Brock Lesnar...
