SINGAPORE - Selection trials for next year's U-14 girls' national team will begin next week, the Football Association of Singapore announced on Wednesday (June 15).
Set to take place on June 20, 22 and 24 at Serangoon Stadium from 5pm-7pm, the trials are open only to Singapore citizens born between Jan 1, 2003 and De 31, 2005. Participants are only required to attend a single trial session.
Selected players will represent Singapore at the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) U-14 Girls Regional Championship next June.
The current U-14 girls national side competed in last month's AFC U-14 Girls Regional Championship but failed to make it out of the group stage after losing all three matches in the group stage. Thailand were crowned champions.
