Football: Austria training camp for Singapore national team and Under-23s

Both the senior and Under-23 national football teams will head to Salzburg, Austria, for a 16-day training trip, the Football Association of Singapore (FAS) announced on Tuesday.

The July 7-23 stint will be used to prepare the teams for November's Asean Football Federation Suzuki Cup co-hosted by Singapore and Vietnam, as well as next June's Singapore SEA Games on home soil.

Both teams will play three friendly matches each during the trip. The senior team will take on Czech side FC Brno (July 12), as well as Russia's Torpedo Moscow (July 18), and Dynamo Moscow (July 21).

The U-23 side will face Czech Republic's FK Pribram (July 11), Borussia Dortmund U-23 (July 15), and another European club side on July 20, to be announced at a later date.
