Barclays Asia Trophy: Arsenal, Everton players tweet about Singapore, and watch them in action

SINGAPORE - FA cup champions Arsenal and Everton are in town to take part in the 2015 Barclays Asia Trophy, where they will play against Stoke City and a Singapore Selection side.

Players from both clubs have taken to social media, tweeting about their time so far in Singapore.  

In two training session videos, players from Barclays Premier League side Arsenal showcase their sublime passing skills to the legion of Singaporean fans who turned up in full force to support the club. In the videos, Mesut Oezil, Oliver Giroud, Laurent Koscielny and Per Mertesacker demonstrate their lightning quick one-touch passes.

Arsenal's contingent excites the crowd at the Jalan Besar Stadium during the Premier League Community Festival, held in conjunction with the Barclays Asia Trophy tournament. The team will take on a Singapore Select XI on Wednesday (July 15). 

Everton Football Club staff dish out souvenirs to fans who gathered at the National Stadium on July 14 (Tuesday). 

Fans cheer loudly as players from Stoke City make their appearance on the pitch at the National Stadium. 

Speaking about expectations, Stoke City's Jonathan Walters said the new season is set to be exciting and challenging.
