The lobby of Novotel Hotel in Manila was illuminated yesterday by the presence of three of South-east Asia's best strikers turned coaches, all of whom are in town for the Asean Football Federation Suzuki Cup.

Thailand's national coach Kiatisuk Senamaung shook hands with Singapore caretaker coach V. Sundramoorthy while Fandi Ahmad, who is assisting with the coaching of the Lions, broke into a wide smile.

Thailand and Singapore are in Group A alongside co-hosts Philippines and Indonesia.
