Football: Zainudin stays on as FAS president to 2015; plans to host Fifa World Youth Cup

Zainudin Nordin will remain as Football Association of Singapore (FAS) president until 2015 at the FAS' annual general meeting at Jalan Besar Stadium.

Two new vice-presidents - Bernard Tan and Edwin Tong - were also appointed. They join current vice-presidents Lim Kia Tong and Tan Soo Nan.

Bernard Tan, a Singaporean, is the president commissioner of PT Bank DBS Indonesia.

The FAS is also studying the possibility of hosting the Fifa World Youth Championship.

Zainudin also revealed that FAS will sign a MOU with the French Football Federation to send promising players and backroom staff for stints in France.
