LONDON (AFP) - Veteran Greece midfielder Giorgos Karagounis has signed a one-year contract extension at Fulham, the west London club said on Tuesday.
The 36-year-old joined a year ago from Panathinaikos on a free transfer, played 28 times for Martin Jol's side and was initially released at the end of last season.
Despite being linked with a return to Panathinaikos or a move to Australians Melbourne Victory, he has now penned a new one-year deal with Fulham.
