Eintracht Frankfurt's Under-15s scored late on for the second match in a row to clinch top spot in Group A of the Canon Lion City Cup, despite a 1-2 loss to Singapore's National Football Academy U-16s.
Substitute Marvin Diehl's 79th minute goal rescued the German side from the brink of elimination and consigned the hosts to a fifth-place play-off against their U-15 counterparts on Sunday.
Despite having an identical record to Arsenal's U-15s, Frankfurt took top spot by virtue of winning their a tie-breaking penalty shoot-out after Monday's 4-3 win over the English side.
They will take on Group B runners-up PSV Eindhoven U-15s, while Arsenal will face the U-15s from Brazil's Corinthians in Friday's semi-finals.
