Football: France international Kevin Gameiro on way out at PSG, set to sign for Sevilla

PARIS (AFP) - Paris Saint-Germain striker Kevin Gameiro is set to leave the French soccer champions and join Spanish top-flight side Sevilla, PSG coach Laurent Blanc said.

Speaking after his side's 2-0 friendly win over Hammarby in Sweden on Tuesday night, Blanc said that Gameiro had left the squad to travel to Spain where he would finalise details of his transfer.

"I've admired Kevin for a long time now, but it is his choice and it is in keeping with what the club wants" Blanc said.

PSG have a wealth of attacking talent with last season's top scorer Zlatan Ibrahimovic and new signing Edinson Cavani, meaning French international Gameiro had little chance of finding a slot in the starting line-up.
