MADRID (AFP) - Atletico Madrid on Wednesday announced an agreement that will see Argentinian international midfielder Jose Sosa join the club on loan until the end of the season.

Sosa will sign from Ukrainian outfit Metalist Kharkiv subject to a medical in the Spanish capital on Thursday.

The 28-year-old has previously played for Bayern Munich and Napoli.

Atletico currently sit level on points with leaders Barcelona in La Liga.
