LONDON - Arsenal's come-from-behind 3-1 home win over Norwich on Saturday lifted them into third place in the English Premier League football standings.

They have 59 points from 32 games, one ahead of London rivals Chelsea and Tottenham, although the Blues have played a match fewer.

Elsewhere, Everton beat Queens Park Rangers 2-0, the Reading-Liverpool game ended goal-less, while there were 1-1 draws between Southampton and West Ham as well as between Aston Villa with Fulham.

On Sunday, Newcastle play Sunderland in the north-east derby while Stoke take on runaway leaders Manchester United, who have 77 points and a 12-point lead over champions Manchester City.
