The fifth annual DBS Marina Regatta kicked off yesterday, with dragonboat rowers competing in the 200m corporate, premier, tertiary and open categories at Marina Bay. Themed races were introduced for the first time, with Singapore Sailing emerging victors in the "Singapore's Finest" race where current and past national athletes from various sports took to the water. The event resumes today with the premier mixed, corporate mixed and tertiary mixed categories, while the 500m races will take place next weekend.
