Cricket: Tendulkar on 38 in Test swan-song

CRICKET legend Sachin Tendulkar is 38 not out in his Test swan-song, as Indian trail the West Indies by 25 runs with eight wickets remaining in the first innings at stumps on day one in Mumbai.

Cheteshwar Pujara is on 34 as India reach 157-2 in the second and final Test, having bowled out West Indies for 182, with Pragyan Ohja taking five wickets.

The 40-year-old Tendulkar took only 10 runs last week in the first Test in Kolkata, which India won by an innings and 51 runs inside three days.
