Chicago lift Stanley Cup

Kimmo Timonen hoisting the Stanley Cup, after the Chicago Blackhawks beat the Tampa Bay Lightning 2-0 in Game 6 of the Stanley Cup Final at United Centre in Chicago on Monday.

Fellow defenceman Duncan Keith scored the opening goal, as the Blackhawks clinched their first Stanley Cup hockey title on home ice in 77 years.

The 31-year-old Canadian fired his own rebound to give the Blackhawks a 1-0 lead late in the second.

Patrick Kane got the insurance marker in the third period as Chicago won the series 4-2.
