SINGAPORE - Sports fans can look forward to three consecutive days of swimming and tennis action later this month with the Ultimate Weekend With Champions sports pass.

The pass, offered by the Singapore Swimming Association (SSA) and Lagadere Sports, allows access to the Fina/airweave Swimming World Cup presented by Yakult on Oct 21 and 22, and to the first day of the BNP Paribas WTA Finals Singapore presented by SC Global.

One hundred passes are available from Friday (Oct 7) at $70 each, with a $6 booking fee.

Olympic medallists including South Africa's Chad le Clos and Japan's Daiya Seto will be in town for the Singapore leg of the Fina/airweave Swimming World Cup, while the WTA Finals Singapore will feature the likes of world No. 1 Angelique Kerber and 22-time Grand Slam winner Serena Williams.

Vice-president of Tennis - Asia at Lagardere Sports Sarah Clements said: "Both (the WTA Finals Singapore and Fina/airweave Swimming World Cup) are events that will see athletes at the top of their game battle it out, and are wonderful spectacles that will excite, entertain and inspire communities and future generations of sports personalities."

SSA executive director Edwin Ker added: "There are not many sporting events that bring together Singapore world champions and Olympic medallists, and to have two together as part of one package across a weekend is fantastic news for sports fans.

"An initiative like this will bring athletes and stakeholders of two outstanding sports closer together, and this will only bode well for the future of both sports in Singapore."
