SINGAPORE - A bumper 49 golds across 18 sports will be up for grabs on Sunday at the SEA Games, and Singapore will be gunning for a number of them.
The final Super Sunday of the Games will see archery, badminton, basketball, bowling, cycling, floorball, rhythmic gymnastics, pencak silat, petanque, rowing, sailing, sepak takraw, squash, taekwondo, tennis, volleyball, water-polo and waterski being contested.
Those who want to cheer Team Singapore on as they bid to add to their record gold tally can head down to Marina Bay and the National Sailing Centre where the Republic's sailors are strong contenders for many of the gold medals on offer.
Singapore's bowlers should also do well at the Orchid Country Club, while over at the ITE College Central, expect a thrilling atmosphere as the hosts gun for the first-ever SEA Games floorball golds.
Scenic Bedok Reservoir will provide the ideal backdrop for some great water-ski and wakeboard action as double gold medallist Sasha Christian bids for a hat-trick of titles.
Tennis fans might also want to head down to the Kallang Tennis Centre to see if Thailand can continue their dominant form.
For members of the public hoping to get a taste of the SEA Games action before the closing ceremony on Tuesday, there are still tickets available for sale for badminton at the Singapore Indoor Stadium, and waterpolo at the OCBC Aquatic Centre.
