SINGAPORE - For her sheer consistency and accuracy at the lanes, Singapore bowler Shayna Ng has won the All Events title at the Women's World Bowling Championships on Saturday afternoon.
The 26-year-old finished top of the 147-strong field after amassing 5,587 pinfalls in the singles, doubles, trios and team events held at Zayed Sports City in Abu Dhabi.
Ng seized the title by the narrow margin of one pinfall as she relegated American Liz Johnson to second place. South Korea's Jeon Eunhee finished third with 5,521.
The Singaporean will team up with compatriots Cherie Tan, Joey Yeo, New Hui Fen, Jazreel Tan and Daphne Tan for the team of five semi-finals on Saturday afternoon, as they gun for a place in the final on the same evening.
