Bowling: Singapore trio win bronze at Asian Para Games in men's team event

Singapore has clinched its third medal at the Asian Para Games on Tuesday after Anuar Saaid, Robert Ong and Ismail Hussain came in third at the men's bowling team TPB8+TPB2/3+TPB2/3 event.

The trio chalked up a total score of 1,881 pinfalls in Incheon to earn the the bronze medal, finishing behind South Korea's Koh Young-bae, Kim Jae-cheol and Park Sang Soo (2,157 pinfalls) and Malaysia's Ahmad Amil Husin, Suhaili Abdul Hamid and Zainul Akmal Siran (1,921 pinfalls).

This is the second bronze for Singapore in bowling after the pairing of Anuar and Kalvin Tay finished third in the men's doubles TPB8+TPB8 on Monday. A day earlier, swimmer Theresa Goh won the Republic's first medal at the games when she won bronze in the women's 100m breaststroke SB4 final.
