Bowler Keith Saw won his first national title on Saturday, when he came out tops in the men's Open step-ladder final of the 45th Singapore National Bowling Championship.

After seeing off third seed Muhammad Jaris Goh by 248-184 pinfalls to advance into the final, the 20-year-old second seed defeated top seed Tay Hui Chiang, also 20, over two games (218-213, 218-195) to seal victory.

In the women's Open final, second seed Jasmine Yeong-Nathan was crowned champion for the second time, after prevailing in the two-game step-ladder final against top seed Kristin Quah.

The 26-year-old management consultant set up a final showdown with the 18-year-old after beating third seed Geraldine Ng 205-201, before dispatching Kristin 250-193 and 264-163.
