The Singapore Slingers' American import forward Xavier Alexander goes for a lay-up during their 84-76 Asean Basketball League (ABL) win over the visiting Kaohsiung Truth at the OCBC Arena yesterday.

Alexander finished the game with a triple-double - 15 points, 11 rebounds and 13 assists - as the Slingers held on for the win, which improves their ABL win-loss record to 11-5.

They remain 1.5 games behind leaders Hong Kong Eastern Long Lions (11-2), who had defeated Westports Malaysia Dragons 88-85 in Kuala Lumpur yesterday.

In the third game, the Saigon Heat beat the Alab Pilipinas 78-74.

The Slingers' next game is against the Heat next Sunday at the OCBC Arena.
