NBA: Cavs lose, Durant leads Thunder to victory, Clippers claim buzzer-beater win

(REUTERS) - Brook Lopez scored 22 points, and the Brooklyn Nets withstood a big performance by LeBron James during a 104-95 victory over the Cleveland Cavaliers on Thursday night.

Shane Larkin added 16 points for the Nets, who held the Cavaliers to 12 points in the fourth quarter. Bojan Bogdanovic contributed 12 points, while reserves Sean Kilpatrick and Rondae Hollis-Jefferson added 10 apiece as the Nets won for the third time in their past 11 games.

Elsewhere, Kevin Durant scored 20 points to lead the Oklahoma City Thunder to a 113-91 victory over the Utah Jazz on Thursday at the Chesapeake Energy Arena.

Durant shot seven of 11 from the field to go with eight rebounds and nine assists. It was the 58th straight game he has scored at least 20 points.

Meanwhile, JJ Redick hit a jump shot as time expired, and the Los Angeles Clippers defeated the Portland Trail Blazers 96-94 Thursday at Staples Centre.

Redick came around a pick and took a pass from Chris Paul for the game-winning shot. Crawford hit a three-point shot to tie with 11 seconds remaining in regulation after Portland's Damian Lillard sank a three-pointer with 23.9 seconds remaining.
