More than 3,000 runners took part in the Asics City Relay, Singapore's only night relay run, around the Singapore Sports Hub yesterday.
This year's race saw a new half-marathon category (21km), as well as a new route that featured the picturesque Kallang River as a backdrop.
Neo Jie Shi, who raced in the Rio Olympics marathon last month, made the event her first run back in Singapore. Instead of going solo, she ran with a team of friends.
Team Cicada won the newly introduced initiative "Best Dressed Team", with the girls clad in tutus and the boys in tattoo sleeves.
