SINGAPORE - The national men's goalball team's Asean Para Games debut campaign have ended with a 11-1 loss to Myanmar in their final group match of the tournament on Monday afternoon.

The match ended with more than three minutes left on the clock, as the rule states that once the goal difference between the two teams reaches 10 points, the game will be stopped with the leading team being declared the winner.

The Singapore team, formed only in January, finished the tournament without a win in five games, suffering defeats to Laos (14-4), Malaysia (12-2), Indonesia (13-3) and defending champions Thailand (20-10).

Meanwhile, the women's team will take on Thailand in a later match on Monday evening, and they face Laos in their final preliminary match on Tuesday.
