The ones who swim and fence, tumble and kayak, who nobody truly cares for, except when they'll be in Tokyo. The ones for whom Tokyo isn't a Games, not some mere polished playground, but a validation of a life's work.

So, please, just don't tell them there may not be a Tokyo this year.
