National short-track speed skater Lucas Ng took on the role of Singapore's flag-bearer for the second straight Asian Winter Games yesterday, during the quadrennial event's opening ceremony at the Sapporo Dome in Japan. The 29-year-old was Singapore's lone representative at the last Games in Kazakhstan in 2011. This time, the Republic is represented by 22 athletes across three sports - figure skating, short-track speed skating and ice hockey.
