Singaporean professional boxer Muhamad Ridhwan (left) and his opponent Jason Butar of Indonesia posed for the cameras and had the obligatory stare-down at yesterday's weigh-in, ahead of their clash tonight at the inaugural Roar of Singapore boxing event.

The event will take place at the Singapore Foochow Association.

It will feature 14 fights, including four Universal Boxing Organisation (UBO) title bouts.

Other Singaporeans in action include the Republic's first female professional boxer, Nurshahidah Roslie, Rafi Majid and amateur boxers Danish Husli and Spencer Zhang.
