SINGAPORE- The Singapore Mint's annual Lunar Fair will be held from Jan 8 to 18 at both Orchard Central and Chinatown Point, from 11am to 9pm daily. Admission is free.

To usher in what organisers say is the harmonious year of the goat, the fair will feature various coins and collectibles, including the 2015 Singapore Lunar Goat Almanac Coin Collection in a range of fine gold, fine silver and base-metal coins.

Shoppers who believe in "the goat's sure-footed advancement to embrace prosperity", as the Singapore Mint described in a press release on Friday, can look forward to auspicious items from 24K gold-plated figurines and ornaments to decorative figures such as the Magnificent Goat, Bountiful Goat and Prosperous Wealth Sheep.

Other than coin collections, the fair will also offer highlights such as a lucky draw and a Spin the Wheel activity, where visitors stand a chance to win prizes with each purchase of Singapore Mint products.
