Winners of this year's President's Challenge Social Enterprise Award can look forward to receiving corporate advisory support in areas such as business, marketing, law and financing.

This was announced by President Tony Tan Keng Yam on Saturday, at the launch of the second run of the award at the inaugural Social Enterprise Carnival @ DBS Marina Regatta.

Participating corporate organisations will work with award winners to refine their businesses and further develop their capabilities. So far, five corporate partners have joined this initiative - management consultancy Bain & Co, the Law Society's Pro Bono Services Office, Keppel Group, Philosophy Brand Consultants and DBS Bank.

Dr Tan said: "I was very heartened with the encouraging start last year. I look forward to seeing even more social enterprises stepping forward to apply for the Award this time around."
