URA to launch agriculture exhibition

The Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA) is launching an Urban Lab exhibition today that highlights advancements in agriculture. This includes indoor vertical farms for seafood.

These innovations could help farmers optimise farming processes and grow more produce with less land, labour and water.


Moon to hold summit with Putin

South Korean President Moon Jae In will hold a summit with Russian President Vladimir Putin today on the sidelines of the Eastern Economic Forum in Vladivostok. They will hold a joint press conference after the meeting and a signing ceremony for agreements.

The meeting comes one day after the duo had a call where Mr Moon told Mr Putin it was time to "seriously review" the suspension of crude oil supplies to North Korea.


MAS survey of economists out today

The Monetary Authority of Singapore's latest survey of professional forecasters, which polls private-sector economists on their outlook for the Singapore economy, is due out today.

Economic growth has picked up this year, thanks largely to the manufacturing sector, but activity remains patchy across the rest of the economy, especially in sectors that rely mainly on domestic demand.
