What it should have been

In a story on Aug 9, we said the Ministry of Health said there was nothing wrong with a doctor charging separately for two ailments during one consultation.

The ministry did not say "nothing wrong". It was our interpretation of the ministry's reply. We are sorry we did not make this clear.

The ministry has also clarified that its comments were a "general reply" to explain what general practitioners typically consider in their charging.
