SINGAPORE - A wake is being held for a consultancy firm owner found stabbed to death in his Bukit Panjang home in the early hours of Monday (Aug 31).

Mr Gordon Yeo, 33, will be cremated on Friday and his 26-year-old civil servant wife, Vivien Teoh, was on Tuesday charged in court with his murder.

His wake is being held at the void deck of his parents' flat in Bishan and his family have requested privacy.

Mr Yeo was apparently found with slash and stab wounds in his four-room Housing Board flat in Senja Road.

He was pronounced dead at 1.19am on Monday.

His wife is currently being held in remand and will be back in court on Sept 8. If convicted of murder, she faces the death penalty.

The couple married almost two years ago and have a one-year-old daughter. The Straits Times understands that she is being taken care of by Teoh's parents.
