SINGAPORE - A video showing an MRT passenger allegedly picking a fight with a teenager has many people up in arms.

In the video that was sent to citizen journalism site Stomp, a man can be heard asking: "Do you want to fight?". He threatens and insults him, apparently because the teenager was wearing a T-shirt that said "I'm f***ing special".

The man is heard saying "Oh dear, what a face."

The teenager kept quite throughout the incident.

Nabilah, the netizen who sent the video, said that the train was very crowded on that day. In the video, the man continues his rant for about three minutes and then threatens to throw the teenager out of the train at Ang Mo Kio MRT station. At that point, a fellow commuter steps in and asks the man to leave the train.

The man asks: "What's it to do with you?" and "Why is he wearing that T-shirt?" before eventually leaving the train.

Police officers who appeared to be from the Special Operations Command were seen attending to the man. The commuter who helped was also asked to step out.

Netizens, who commented on the Stomp site, were mostly angry with the man and said that it was up to the teenager what he wanted to wear.
