From July 25, all Valuair flights to Medan, Indonesia will land at the new Kuala Namu International Airport in North Sumatra, instead of the current Polonia International Airport.

The new airport is accessible by taxi, train or bus services and is about 42km from Medan city centre. The current Polonia airport is about 2km from the city centre.

Passengers booked to travel between Singapore and Medan from July 25 will receive an updated e-mail itinerary to reflect the location of the new airport. The airport codes will be changed from MES to KNO.

Valuair currently operates up to six weekly flights between Singapore and Medan.
