Two teenagers arrested for vandalism in Taman Jurong

Two male teenagers were arrested Wednesday on suspicion of vandalism in Taman Jurong.

The police had received several reports last week that the void decks and common areas along the upper floors of Housing Board blocks in Kang Ching Road, Yung Ping Road and Yung An Road were spray painted with graffiti.

The police said in a press statement on Thursday that the suspects were arrested at about 5pm on Wednesday at Taman Jurong Housing Estate.

The duo are believed to be involved in at least four cases of vandalism committed in that area.

One of them is also being investigated for an offence of giving false information to a public servant. Investigations are ongoing.
