Two people taken to hospital after crash along Upper Serangoon Road on Saturday

SINGAPORE- Two people were taken to hospital after a crash between a car and a taxi just after 12am on Saturday morning.

A video showing the accident was uploaded onto Facebook page "Singapore Road Accident" on Saturday.

It showed a car turning around a bend crashing into a taxi that had been travelling straight along Upper Serangoon Road.

The impact caused the taxi to end up just outside a coffeeshop along the road.

The police said they received a call alerting them to the incident at 12.09am, and that the two people were taken to Tan Tock Seng Hospital conscious.
