Two people injured after crane collapses on lorry at Jurong Port

SINGAPORE - A crane collapsed onto a lorry at Jurong Port on Thursday (July 14) afternoon, injuring two people.

The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) said it was alerted to the incident at 37, Jurong Port Road, at 3.20pm.

It dispatched two ambulances to the scene.

A man in his 30s was conveyed conscious to the National University Hospital, SCDF said. Another unidentified casualty was sent to Ng Teng Fong General Hospital.

Pictures sent by an ST reader showed the front end of a lorry caved in after the crane seemingly tipped over on its side.
