Two more suspects arrested for Orchard Cineleisure slashing

Police arrested two more men in connection with a knife attack on a full-time national serviceman at Orchard Cineleisure on Saturday.

The two suspects, both aged 21, were nabbed by the Secret Societies Branch of the Criminal Investigation Department on Wednesday.

This brings the total number of suspects arrested over the case to 11, two of whom were charged in court on Monday.

The 20-year-old victim, who suffered injuries to his head and arms, has since been discharged from hospital.

If convicted of rioting armed with deadly weapons, the suspects may be jailed up to 10 years and caned.
