Two men hurt in Tampines slashing outside Community Club

Two men were attacked with a knife outside Tampines West Community Club early Friday morning.

The victims, believed to be in their 20s, were left lying in a pool of blood as their attackers fled the scene. The knife, measuring about 36cm, was left behind.

The two men were said to have been slashed on the face, head, shoulders and thighs. One of them almost lost his nose.

Police were informed at 6.20am of the fight and the victims were taken to Changi General Hospital.

A spokesman at the hospital told The Straits Times that both men underwent surgery yesterday. It is not known what condition they are currently in.
