SINGAPORE - Three people were taken to hospital after an accident involving two vehicles in Geylang Bahru on Sunday (May 28) afternoon.

The police told The Straits Times that three people, aged between 34 and 44, were taken to hospital after an accident involving two cars along Geylang Bahru towards Upper Boon Keng, beside Kolam Ayer Community Club.

The Singapore Civil Defence Force said it was alerted at about 4.15pm and dispatched one fire engine, one Red Rhino, one fire bike, three ambulances and one support vehicle.

"There was no person trapped. Three casualties were taken to Tan Tock Seng Hospital," said SCDF.

A photo of the accident shows the bonnets of both cars smashed in.

Police investigations are ongoing.
